Win a Book Thong

My super cool friend makes these adorable Book Thongs (and wine glass charms). I am a big book lover and obviously you gotta have some bling to keep your place when you're reading something good right? I love these so much that I thought it'd be fun to give one away to one of my awesome friends!

Here's the deal:
For one entry each, do any of the following:
(Please leave a separate comment for each entry.)

~Tell me a good book you've read recently.
~Tell me a book you're wanting to read.
~Who is your favorite author?
~What is your favorite bookthong?
~Spread the word anywhere (then just come back and tell me you did).

  1. -I loved the Mortal Instruments trilogy. I think they were awesome!

-The book I've been wanting to read the most is the book I'm reading right now. It's The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger.

-I'll always have a love for Stephenie Meyer and JK Rowling because they're the ones to get me to read. But, at this point, I'm not sure who my "favorite" author is as I'm discovering authors all the time.

-Starlight is my favorite bookthong. When you first asked the question, I wasn't sure what to say because I didn't see the link and I've never had a bookthong. LOL!

-I have a link on my blog to your blog. I'm not sure if that counts. If not, that's okay. I just enjoy telling you about myself. ;)

  21. I read an average of 8 to 10 books a month and sometimes more. Instead of watching TV, I relax by reading a book. So, it's not often I come across a book that is truly mesmerizing.

One of them is the "Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. It's a trilogy and I look forward to the sequel in September!

  30. Two books I really enjoyed, both by Jodi Picoult. My Sister's Keeper. One of my top five books. And 19 Minutes. It's a book that is about a Columbine shooting type incident. I believe that it should be required reading for 9th graders and above.

  31. Since all of my books that I've mentioned so far have been by Jodi Picoult you could safely assume that she is my favorite author but that would be a wrong assumption. I don't necessarily have a favorite author. I love Shel Silverstein, and Robert Fulghum. I also really enjoy Robert Jordan who wrote The Wheel of Time series. Good series by the way.

  36. One book I want to read is "White Witch, Black Curse" by Kim Harrison. I've read all the other books in the series, I just haven't picked this one up yet. If you haven't tried it, the first book in the series is "Dead Witch Walking" - you should give it a shot!

  37. My favorite author is J.D. Robb (aka Nora Roberts), who writes the "In Death" series about the NYPSD Lieutenant Eve Dallas, set about 50 years in the future. There are over 20 books in the series now, and so many multifaceted and wonderful characters, if you haven't given it a try, you are so missing out!
