I LOVE to workout (yes I am weird!!) but in order to see the results that I wanted, I had to really get the eating under control. I do eat back all my exercise calories though (plus I am nursing) so I eat about 2000 calories each day and am still able to lose about a pound a week (sometimes even more.)
