Summer Favorites: #4 Time to Burn

Along with the school year comes the small window of free time for my kids. Meaning that anything that involves my kids (playing with friends, doctor appointments, sports, music lessons, seeing extended family, etc) has to be scheduled between after school and bedtime. Not a lot of time.

I love having the entire day to play, schedule activities and appointments or do nothing at all. Lots of easy breezy time.

I have to say, having my kiddos eventually go to school has pros & cons. That is definetly a con. I hate living by a strick schedule.

I agree with Kristina, I would love the summer months off! *sigh*

I wish I didn't have to work during the summer. I would have so much more time! I'm glad you get a chance to spend more time with your kids and more time without running so many errands around their schedules.

I'm not really looking forward to that part of having a child in school, however, I am looking forward to scheduling the other kids appointments while he's there....one less kid to drag along.

I love sleeping in in the summer, but I love the few hours of silence when school is in. The house aches with it. Then the kids all come home and bring life and noise, and chaos with them.

These kind of posts almost (very little almost) make me wish I was back in school so I could have a break like that:)

I hate that about the school year. Some parts are nice, but I have loved every minute of this summer! Espicially the ones where I'm not doing anything. ;)
