Tell Me: Spend it Baby

If you got $10,000 today and HAD to spend it on something fun (aka anything besides bills, debt or the like) within 24 hours what would you spend it on? A big ticket item? A bunch of smaller things?

Without thinking about it for too long I think I'd spend it on a bunch of small things. I'd use $1000 on Christmas (or maybe less so my kids wouldn't think it's the new standard). I'd buy a dinning room table, a headboard and a handful of new clothes. I'd also buy a bunch of my favorite books to add to my bookshelf.

(I found this image on google images.)

A super fancy holiday for the whole family! I am sure we could spend $10,000 easily!

A mediterranean cruise! With first class plane tickets and a super nice room to stay in....and I'd schedule it pretty far out in hopes that I'd eventually have a husband to take with me:)

I'd buy a new mattress, a living room set, and possibly a dining room set if there's still enough.

furniture for my bedroom, clothes for everyone, and I think I would FINALLY paint my house (inside and out). And depending on if there is any left, extend our patio.

Definitely smaller things. I would buy a bunch of clothes and a trip somewhere.

That's easy--new living room couches, a new dining set, and a trip to England with my mom.

If there was anything left over, I'd spend it on some landscaping whatever for the backyard.

I would buy myself a nice used car. What a step up that would be! If there was anything left, a vacation for me and my hubby. And if there was anything left from that, clothes, toys, christmas, and maybe a little for a savings for next christmas.

Furniture seems to be a common theme, and I'm sticking with it. I would get a new bed, dining set, sofa and chairs for the living room (the sofa and chairs are actually already ordered, which I am REALLY excited about) and NEW FLOORS! We need new floors in our house.

Oh my! Can you imagine?!?

I'd probably by a new couch. Ours is AWFUL. Old grandma flowers with a brown cover over it. The brown cover is only marginally better than the maroon and hunter green flowers. :)

A new dining room table. Our i just WAY too small for our growing family & all the food we eat.

Maybe a laptop. I use one Scott borrowed from work but it'd be nice to have one of my own.

And clothes for my WHOLE family. They are all in dire need of clothes for the fall/winter time.

The first thing I would do is to go on an amazing spa weekend with my hubby and then take all of my closest friends to a fancy dinner and lots of dancing.

I'd give it to Scott so he could buy all the stuff he wants for our home theater in the basement.

I'd take you all to Disneyland again! Might even be able to afford to do it twice.

Ooo, ooo, furniture for my house and a new computer. A girl can dream!

It wouldn't cover the full cost, but since we already have some money saved, I'd put it toward a new car. I'm not a fan of driving a stick shift with an infant (navigating the gears while trying to put a pacifier in blindly is quite difficult).

Let's see... a new couch, new bed, an extended trip to Europe, and Christmas gifts for my little ones
