2014 Reading Review

I love doing year in reviews because I really do go over and over my books several times a year. Whenever anyone asks for a book recommendation I can't sit by. I have to throw a suggestion, or 5 into the ring. Plus I really love comparing my reading year by year. So while I realize this is mostly for my own benefit, I hope you enjoy it too.

I just put a dozen books on hold from this list. Thanks for the recommendations! Do you like epic fantasy? I just finished Heir of Fire from the Throne of Glass series and have liked all of them a lot. Thanks again!

Ooo Becky I'm so curious what books sounded good! I'm not a huge reader of epic fantasy. But to be fair I haven't really given it a fair chance. I'll have to add those to my to be read pile. Thanks for the recs!

I didn't think I would like epic fantasy much until my husband (who is a prolific reader like you and it's his favorite genre) talked me into trying some. I surprised myself with how much I liked them. They are more violent than I'd normally like, but they have some great romance, too.
