Go Now. Save the World.

Have you ever read a fabulous book and wanted to talk to someone about it? Wanted to tell the world about it's awesomeness?

I was thinking, we should all go spread the love this week! Spread the book loving, author greatness, love!

Here's your challenge (to win a free book!).

Go write a review!

For a long time I was worried about writing reviews. Worried that I wasn't getting my feelings across or that others might not agree with me. Dont worry about it being eloquent or fabulous. Just be honest and actually do it!

A few places to write:*
Amazon
Shelfair
Goodreads
Barnes and Noble
Borders

*It's also helpful to 'Like' the comments that you think are good reviews.

How to enter:

Comment after doing any of the following and tell me what you did/how many entries you have.

1-3 reviews=1 entry
4-6 reviews=2 entries
6+ reviews=4 entries
Twitter about this post=1 entry
Facebook or Blog about this post=3 entries

Details:
~Contest will remain open until March 4th.
~A winner will be chosen randomly.
~Lets play nice folks ok? Please be honest and when you've written your review(s) come back and tell me how many reviews/entries you have. Please only count reviews you write from today until March 4th, 2010.
~Winner can choose from my stash of books. Including titles: Airhead by Meg Cabot, Ruined by Paula Morris, The Dark Divine (ARC) by Bree Despain, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, The Candy Shop Wars by Brandon Mull, Fablehaven by Brandon Mull

I've reviewed a few books on goodreads---but mostly I share the love by telling anyone I think will appreciate the book about it and basically insist they read it:)

Sounds like a great idea. The only problem for me is that I need to read a book before I post a review. ;)

I always mean to write a review but I usually end up just giving the book a star rating because I'm lazy. I guess that now I have a reason to stop being lazy and get it done!

Jenni- review books you've already read!

That sounds fun, so I'll be back once I post a review!

Reviews are really important - you can help your friends know what you really did or didn't like, and speaking as an author, it's so helpful to know what jived with the reader and what didn't. I underline what's already been said, though - you can say what you think without being too harsh, and that helps everyone.

Every time I get done with a book, I write a review about it. That is how I find a lot of books to read-- checking out what my friends are reading on GoodReads.

The books you are giving away are some of all time FAVORITES!

Hey lady! I forgot to post on this! SUCH A BRILLIANT IDEA. Seriously love it.

So, I try to review often- on Goodreads but I did post a couple reviews on Amazon just for this.

Also I re-tweeted ya!

Thanks for being brilliant & I have that DARN book to give you. Can not WAIT for you to finish so we can talk about it!
