Wow, what a very familiar sight! I've decided that if I just don't go into my kids' bedroom, then I don't have to worry about it. Right?
Although, the library frequently looks like this too and I get paid to pick it up so it doesn't bother me... maybe the kids just need to pay me to clean up their messes and we'll all be happy. (But I'm pretty sure they can't afford me!)
I think my kids think bookshelves look better empty. Or maybe that books make for a more beautifying flooring, because ours look like that ALL the TIME.
You know, I've heard that read books is a stepping stone towards a good education... but is this what they meant? If so, it looks like we'll all have genius kids!
I figure that books is the one way you can completely indulge a child without "spoiling" them. It's the one area I can overpurchase and won't feel guilty about it.
ha ha! This is seriously what Ezra's floor under his bookshelf looks like every night. HE LOVES to read, but can't figure out how to put them back on the shelves. ha ha.

HA! Too true, too true!
:) Great!
Is that my house?!
That looks like our house!
A veritable heaven for children. =]
Ha! That's awesome!
Not only does that look like the messes all over my house but we have that same rocking horse and basket. creepy.
I can't tell you how familiar that looks. Although, I'd usually catch them sitting on top of the pile - or in it.
Love it! Looks like my boys rooms at various times of the day!

Aka. Good-bye books! Mommy and daddy will now be boxing them all up ;o). Oh the joys of kids.
I always say books aren't messes. Although this picture is cutting it close. But books are never clutter!
