Whenever I get to watching it, it makes me wonder about jobs I think would be interesting to try. Not to have forever, but just to try once. I just wonder what goes on in some of these jobs. Not even just the dirty ones on that show. But any job. Driving around town I start looking around the streets thinking about the different shops. Hairstylist, plumber, actor, travel agent, artist, teacher, author, cashier, newspaper reporter, repairman, delivery driver, nurse, flower arranger, police officer, cake decorator, news anchor, broadway star.
Tell Me: What job would you like to try for a day?

I would love to try being a wedding/party planner.
I'm not sure if there are any jobs I'd like to try for a day. I don't really like to work, which I know most people don't. But, I should clarify. I like to work just not at a job. I don't like being forced to do things I don't want to do, which I know is what this life is all about.
Anyway, I want to find a job that I enjoy enough that I don't feel bored or depressed for the majority of the time that I'm there. I know there will be good and bad days, but I think everyone should be able to find something that makes them happy. So, with that said, I think I'd have to try a job for at least a week or a month to get a true feeling for it.
Working for the job that I have for the past 10 years has helped me realize what I don't want to do, though. I don't want to be a technical writer; it gets way too mundane and boring too quickly. I want to do something creative or something active. That's what I seem to enjoy the most.
I would LOVE to be a chocolatier! Not just for a day---for a long time. Wouldn't that be so amazing?
I would love to work in a library for a day. And be allowed to check out any book I wanted, including if it had 50 people on the waiting list. :)
I want to be a greeter at Wal Mart. I look good in blue.
I don't know what job I would want. Maybe just stick with the one I have. Mom/hairstylist on the side/babysitter. I think I am satisfied with what I have. There are good days, and bad days. But my kids love me, they give the best hugs. Cause I think the saying "the grass is always greener" is true. It would be fun to do some of these other things, but I think I will just stick with what I have.
And I love "Dirty Jobs". That show is so funny. Thank goodness for netflix!
I'd like hairsylist. I actually can't stand hair touching me but I always want to know how to cut hair.
And I'd like to be a sneaky person like CIA or something just to see if I could pull it off.
Hummm... just try? Maybe a wildlife photographer. I thought for a while maybe it was something I wanted to do. I'd want to try it out & see if I enjoyed it. Seems like it would be cool.
Children's librarian, travel agent, college professor, family photographer, restaurant critic.
I don't know that I've ever thought about this. Hmm..I would like to be a firefighter for a day. Assuming they would let me drive the engine!
A job I'd like to try out? Teacher. I think I'd like to be a teacher. Or a librarian.
I love dirty jobs. Well, I did, back when we had cable. And Mike Rowe does have his own unique brand of charm. . . .
Anyway. I would love to be a profressional organizer. I would also love to work in a candy store. Or be a photographer. And a landscape artist. Wow. There are a lot of things I would like to try. . .
I think it would be fun to do something in the food industry like a chef or a caterer. Also, I wouldn't mind trying out being on Broadway or at the Met. There's so many things that sound like fun to me!
I love Mike Rowe! He's also an Eagle scout since he lives in the Bay Area, I know its a long shot but I'm going to see if he can write a letter for my son whose getting his Eagle or come speak at his court of honor.
I would love to know how to do hair... but if I could work at any job for a day, I would love to work at Dunder Mifflin... aka the office!! I can't even imagine how nice it would be to sit around and do nothing all day and get paid for it! Must be so much easier than running around all day as a teacher... it's exhausting sometimes...
Love Dirty Jobs! I think I'd like to try being a courier for a week. My grandparents did courier work when I was little & were able to take several trips around the world that way. Fun!
I would either be an ice cream taster or a person who travels all over riding roller coasters and then reviewing them. :)
