Question #10 Singing Sprouts

Asked by Kayla (Who kicks my butt at scrabble and most other board games)

Question #10
What kind of bribe would you have to be offered to get you to eat a serving of brussel sprouts?
What was your favorite song during your sophomore year in high school?
-----

Brussel Sprouts? I've had them once before and they were pretty nasty. So to get me to eat an actual entire serving (and not just a tiny bite like my 3 y/o would try to get away with) would take something serious. I'm talking like a promise to make dinner for me for a week or big cash prize ala fear factor style.

Song in HS? Light in your Eyes by Blessed Union of Souls (I think it starts about 45 seconds into the video). Of course, it reminded me of a boy. Cause mostly everything did really.

My mom used to make brussel sprouts for my dad, because he loved them. I refused to try them.

I had them last year at Market Street Grill, and they were delicious!

There was a restaurant in Logan, once upon a time, called the Grapevine. And they knew how to make any and every vegetable taste so good you would eat every bite, even if you hated it - brussel sprouts, spaghetti squash, you name it. I miss that restaurant.

Yeah-brussel sprouts are basically nasty. And I haven't heard that song for forever!!! Wow-flashbacks.

I have somehow made it into adulthood without ever trying a brussel sprout. Nor have I fed them to my kids. =]

My fav. song in HS was by Collective Soul. I still hear it and think of my hubby. =]

Wow, I thought the bribe would have to be way bigger... something like a Caribbean cruise at least! ;)
Honestly, I have never met a brussel sprout that I would willingly put into my mouth.

Oh and you seriously kicked my tail at our last Scrabble bout! See you!

Cash or making dinner for you for an entire week is nothing for brussel sprouts. I would've asked for an eternity of servitude.

Doesn't it make you sympathetic to the pickiness of kids?
