I watched the first season of Better Off Ted this week. I dont know if it's because Portia de Rossi is in it or not but it kinda feels like Arrested Development to me. I checked online to see if it had similar people working on it but in the five minutes I spent I couldn't find anything. Anyone know?

My creative friend Olivia (and her hubby) designed this fun Eclipse shirt. She's having a contest on her blog (open until this Sunday) if you're interested in WINNING one.

Ok riddle me this. What's up with a fun, interesting idea in a book with a completely lame ending? Not cool folks.
Luckily FOUR books were handed to me this week to try out (two from Rachel, one from Olivia, and one from Heidi) so I better get cracking.

'kay, listened to some good ol' 90's music this week. I think I like it. I mean I loved it then but I was just a teeny little kid. I haven't really gotten into the lastest 'top 40' since I graduated high school and can't really stand to leave my radio on those stations very long. Is this weird?

I better dash, I'm pretty much planning on spending the entire day outside with the kiddos. They've been sprayed with sunscreen and I think have escaped into the back. Ciao

Hmm but did you like BoT??
I've never watched either of those shows. Did you like it? Have fun outside! It is a great day to be outdoors! ...if you like the outdoors, which I don't, but it's still beautiful! :)
Which book was fun, but had a lame ending? I need to know if I have read it or if it's on my to read list.
What was the lamo book?
When I was a kid, I wondered my mom and dad never listened to the radio in the car. I thought that was so weird and boring! Now, I hardly listen anymore! Either the kids have command of the music pics, or it's just grating on my ears and I'd rather have silence. How things changed.
I'm curious about the lame ending book, too. And I LOVE Better Off Ted. So hilarious. I'm sad it was cancelled.
I was So-So about Better Off Ted. Only because people had like SUNG IT'S PRAISES & I was expecting EPICNESS. It was good, and funny. But not like, "Aw heck!" We saw like 4 or 5 episodes. But it takes A LOT to get us into a new show- too much TV for us!
Ack! And I forgot to say THANKS for the shout out! You're pretty much the best!
Debbie, I know what you mean about books that seem awesome and then suck at the end. That's a big hang-up of mine. It's the same with movies too though. If I hate the ending, I pretty much hate the movie or book... it's sad. But, not always. I need to give more things a chance!
Oh, and whenever I hear 90's music, I am transported back to my dishwashing days my sophmore year when I would blast music and sing along while spraying dishes off and mopping. High school... first job... summertime driving in my 1982 prelude with the sun roof open...
Loved this post.
