Loosen up your schedule

About how long does it take you to get ready?

From the time you get up to the time you're ready to face the public, however you view that to be.

And just for an extra little thought, does it differ now compared to when you were in high school?

In case you need some help making breakfast faster, I enjoy a little of this...

*Today and tomorrow left. Have you entered?

I give myself about an hour.

If I do my hair, then it takes me about 45 minutes. If I don't do my hair, it takes me 30 minutes. Also, if I put on makeup or eat breakfast, then that adds time too. But, I normally don't wear makeup and I usually eat breakfast at work, so I can have that extra 10 minutes to sleep.

When I was in high school, it took me an hour and 15 minutes to get ready, if I did my hair. Normally, though, I didn't do my hair "completely." So, I could usually be ready in an hour.

I'm a lazy get-ready person. I hate doing my hair. That's why it's short. I'm trying to get out of that habit, though, since I'm trying to grow my hair out. We'll see how it works out.

I don't really know how long it takes just me to get ready. Probably half hour to forty five minutes. But I generally figure about two hours from the time I start getting me and the kids ready to the time we can actually leave the house, including getting dressed, bathing, breakfast, doing Brooke's hair, etc. Definitely a lot longer than when I was in high school. I think I used to wake up about 45 minutes before I left for school.

Mmmm ... 15 minutes. 30 if I'm trying to look really, really good for something fancy. I attribute that to being a missionary and only having 30 minutes to get ready. I learned how to do it fast. In high school I took an hour. I can't believe that sometimes - what on earth took me long?!

So what about you? How long does it take you?

Thank heavens for Jenae---I was about to feel really awful for only ever taking 15ish minutes. That includes hair and make-up. In high school...close to the same. If I shower in the morning, it's gonna be closer to an hour so I can dry my hair...otherwise, 15 minutes is plenty.

If I shower, one hour total. If I don't shower, 10 minutes, tops.

Pop-Tart directions - hilarious!

Ideally, I like to allow myself 1.5 hour. But I can have it all over and done in 45 minutes..if I plan right!

Oh I love Bryan Regan. He is a favorite. It totally depends on the day and McKay on how long it takes me to get ready. So I really can't say...

The shower takes about 20 minutes. If I know what I'm wearing, I can do pretty much everything else in 10. If I don't know what I'm wearing, it takes significantly longer. . .

I can go naked stepping into the shower to completely ready in 28 minutes. Time me! My trick is, I don't ever wear eye shadow:) heh heh

Oh, and my hair curls itself when I dry with a diffuser. If I want to STRAIGHTEN my hair, then we are talking 45 minutes. But I usually don't care enough to do that.

I don't shower everyday or I shower at night usually so that cuts down my morning time routine.

If i have to shower and blowdry my hair it takes an easy hour or maybe 15 more than that.

If it's just me getting up and brushing hair, teeth & adding makeup then I'd say 15 min tops. I'm easy. I like a little undereye makeup & mascara.

I am amazed sometime how fast I can get me and my whole family ready. Usually 1 hour to an hour and a half and we are good. Sometimes I don't look the best but my kids will look good.

30 minutes to 1 hour for my entire family. Me? I can do that in 5 minutes but I might be stinky and wearing a hat.

I get up at 7:30 and leave the house at 8:00. This includes shower, blow dry, hair straighten, full face of make-up, and self-tanner! I'm a PRO!!!

Now...when I have kids...who knows. LOL

Oh yeah...and in high school I woke up two hours early....what in the heck did I do for that long?? My 14 year old niece is the same way. Maybe practice makes perfect...

The time I get ready is the same as I was in high school, one hour or less.
