A-Z Book Goal (I need ideas!)

In the past three years I've had a few goals to help give me direction in the books I read. In 2008 it was a number (100 books in 52 weeks), in 2009 a genre (Young Adult), in 2010 a niche (local authors, which seriously Utah is AMAZING for this!). So when I saw Danielle at An Eagles View talk about doing an A-Z list for her reading goal this year and I LOVED the idea and decided to try it for my 2011 goal.

I made up a list of a bunch of books I have heard about and wanted to read, some that have been on my to-be-read pile for a while and some brand new ones I found while looking for letters to fill in.

A-Anna and the French Kiss (Stephanie Perkins) , Amy & Roger's Epic Detour (Morgan Matson), Across the Universe (Beth Revis)
B-Back When You Were Easier To Love (Emily Wing Smith), Bright Blue Miracle (Becca Wilhite)
C-City Limits (Sheralyn Pratt), Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy (Ally Carter), Cracked up to be (Courtney Summers)
D-Dont Judge A Girl By Her Cover (Ally Carter), Diary Queen (Catherine Gilbert Murdock), Dream Girl (Lauren Mechling)
E- Everneath (Brodi Ashton), English Trifle (Josi Kilpack)

I-Intrinscal (Lani Woodland), If I Stay (Gayle Forman), I am a Genuis of Unspeakable Evil nd I want to be Your Class President (Josh Lieb), I am not a Serial Killer (Dan Wells)
J-Jimmy Stones Ghost Town (Scott Neumyer), Just Breath (Susan Wiggs),
K-The Kiss of a Stranger (Sarah M. Eden)
L- The Lightening Thief (Rick Riordan), The Lost Saint (Bree Despain)
M-Miss Delacourt Has Her Day (Heidi Ashworth) Maze Runner (James Dashner), The Mark (Marilyn Bunderson), A Match Made In High School (Kristin Walker), My Invented Life (Lauren Bjorkman)

Help! I need ideas to fill in the blanks.

(Or you can suggest other ideas for the letters already filled in. I love hearing about books people love!)

Have you read The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom?

The Ender's Game Saga has a book in it called "Xenocide" so that can fill your "X" spot, and they're really good, easy books to read.

Also, if you know the story of Hamlet, you can read Rozencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead for your "R" spot. Or Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan.

For "Q", I actually recommend "The Question of God." It's a "debate" over philosophical issues using the words of Freud and Lewis. I was very firm in my LDS beliefs before I read the book, and I actually found the whole thing fascinating. It was actually a reinforcement of my faith. It made me very, very sad for Freud.

Ooh-fun idea. I really like Bright Blue Miracle. I'm in LOVE with Lightening Theif. The Mark was pretty good, but I can't figure out if there's supposed to be a sequal?

You don't lack for M submissions but there is a glaring omission, nevertheless.

HEIDI! Thank you. I tried to remember all the books that were coming out THIS year and I knew I forgot a few. I've already added 2 more since the post was published. I'm going to add Miss Delacourt Has Her Day!

Did you read Fire? The prequel for Graceling? I really enjoyed it and many people like it better than Graceling.

If you want to read a "classic" you could read Fahrenheit 451. It wasn't my favorite, although it does have a good message.

Have you read Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier? It's a really good book.

Remember Me is my favorite Mary Higgins Clark book.

Another book Marry Higgins Clark book is You Belong to Me.

Sorry I don't have anything for Q, V, X, or Z. I'll keep thinking.

Okay... Z is for Zookeeper's Wife. I'm not usually a fan of non-fiction, but this one is an exception. Such a great story.

You guys are great. I'm adding so many to my goodreads list!

Oh and Kayla, I'm not reading them in order. I have a handful that I have to have done by a certain time for scheduled reviews or book chats.
